How long would it take a post office package to travel from Tampa, FL to Atlanta, GA?
I have a very important letter coming to me from Tampa by the post office. It left on Wednsday morning. Anyone an expert on this??

Give it 4-5 days. They should have sent it as Priority.

i would say, if you sent it with a good company it should only take a few days

I'm not an expert but I worked as a social in the P.O. for a while and most of the flats usually only take 3 days...you should receive it by Saturday, but certainly no later than Tuesday..(Monday is a holiday)

If it's priority or first class it should be no more than 2 - 3 business days.

Hi, Due to the anticipated increased traffic and security measures associated with the 2009 Presidential Inauguration, pickup and delivery service may be a bit slower. I would look to se it arrive in 4 to 9 days. Also, January 26 is Chinese New Year (a holiday) and will not count (along with Sunday) as a transit time. Hope that helped. 3-4 days. The inauguration shouldn't affect postal delivery between FL and GA. Chinese NY is not a US holiday and is over a week away, so it will not affect it either. Perhaps the poster was thinking of MLK day on Mon the 19 which is a federal holiday. I wouldn't be surprised if it arrived today.
