My friends and I are taveling to Key West this summer and want know what's the cheapest and easiest way to get there?

If you are going for the day or spending a few days there - you really don't need a car and taking the boat from Fort Myers - the Key West Express - is relaxing - faster than driving and cheaper than flying (most times) http://www.keywestshuttle.com/ call them to make reservations as it's cheaper that way.

The cheapest way if you can get to Miami is to take the bus from Miami. It won't cost much, and is by far the cheapest way to get to Key West. The whole ride will take about 4 - 5 hours if you make good connections. If you can get from Miami Airport to the Walmart in Homestead you can catch the Keys bus there instead of taking the more expensive bus service from Miami Airport. The Keys bus will take you to Marathon and there you get the Key West bus.
