great article in today's (sunday, july 29) new york times about low fare options from USA to Europe by flying European airlines. Check the article out for names, departure airports and most popular destinations. Can't remember if Dublin was featured, but one of the main stories was about flights into Belfast. Check it out and best of luck.

call expedia.com to assist you looking for best rates possible.

check Aerlingus.com they soon will have direct flights from Dublin to Orlando... might be interesting. Flights are October to March only.

Hey there and good luck,,, Had a quick go on expedia and the lowest fare they show is about $1,200 which was Tampa / Washington/London/Dublin If you do each leg seperately... Tampa to JFK - Delta - $250 return JFK to London Gatwick - Zoom (www.flyzoom.com) $600 London Gatwick to Dublin - Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) $100 You could do it for under $1,000 and spend the rest on Guinness ! However be aware that if you book your flights seperately and one is late the follow on air company does not have to honour your booking. www.flyglobespan.com will go from Orlando to Glasgow where you could pick up www.easyjet.com to go to belfast where you could get a train or bus to dublin cheaply. You will need a credit car to book the car (most will not accept cash) but there are some cheap deals.. Just search the net for car rental dublin. Make sure you ask for an automatic if you are not OK with a stick shift as the stick shift (manual transmission) is the standard model. If you want to eat cheap buy food in supermarkets and prepare yourself. from what I know eating out is more expensive in Ireland than the US in general. I'm not sure what you can do about accommodation though ? You could book self catering apartment/cottage. http://www.irelandathome.com/ How much you pay for all this depends on when you go, however it wil be very wet and grey by the end of October. Good luck..........
